Well, we got clobobbered tonite. A good down draft in the storm took out a very large oak and 1/3 of the cedar up front.

You could hear the storm coming up and I was talking to Sloppy online and I said "I hope the power doesn't go out, my pizza isn't done!" so I went to check how much time left on the pizza, 3 minutes, turn around and the power goes out. It came back on and the pizza finished. I turned off all the puters and reset the modem and router but every time I tried to ...

Sometimes I forget how amazingly safe my town really is. A few days ago I heard sirens, semed like every cop in town flew down the street by my house. I live on the opposite of main street and on the other side of the highway is downtown, only about 5 blocks down.

It's a resort town, right on the lake with a nice beach, busy in summer with yachts coming into town from Lake Michigan.

This is going to be a short review because otherwise it would be chock full of spoilers and this is definately a movie with moments that need to be experienced first hand. However, I will try so here we go.

I will be perfectly honest in that I don't think this has been the best movie of the year, that would be "Iron Man" but I digress.

TDK is really a story about the consequences of ones actions or rather the unintended consequences of good intentions. Like the old saying ...

Simple Pot Roast

Ingredients:

Chuck Roast 4lb +/-

1 lb carrots

8 Red potatoes or about 4 potatoes

Can of onion soup

2 packets beefy onion Lipton soup mix

Garlic powder

Prep:

Peel carrots, cut into 4� sections.

Wash potatoes, cut into large pieces.

Cooking instructions:

In a 4 quart pot add roast, can of onion soup and soup packets. Add almost 3 qts water or until about 1 1/2" from pot lip. Add garlic powder to taste. Add carrots and potatoes, cover ...

They were up here in SLC for a convention, so I went along and met them!! We had fun, and drinks, and more fun, and drinks, and Mexican food and drinks.

Oh and I bought lots of her art. She is amazing! She did a demo and turned a grey blob into a detailed tiger head in less than 40 minutes!!!! I was in awe!!!

This is the second time I've emailed Pop Weaver to comment on their great microwave popcorn. I bought it on a whim once cause it was on sale and I don't particularly care for microwave popcorn but I noticed I consistently could eat the whole bag, it was that good.

I've added a couple of new categories at the left of the message screen, and as time goes on, I will add smilies.

So... Use the drop down menu to select regular smilies or holiday or patriotic (includes holidays).

I will probably end up with fairly normal, and rarely changing, posticons. Everytime I change them, they disappear. I can't ...

For those of us not so close to the number 21 it's a nice vanity when you get carded for anything. It doesn't matter if it's dark or the person might have vision problems, it's just a nice thing when it happens. When it's cops & it's not so dark it's even better though! They were astounded, my friends were disgusted...it made my day. (it was a sucky day)

So I had to share with you guys.
