World without coffee Empty
PostSubject: World without coffee   World without coffee Icon_minitimeSat Nov 10, 2007 7:32 pm

In one of my many random thoughts I began to think about what if in some alternate dimension the coffee bean never comes into existance. So what I'm wondering is given all the business and culture that surrounds coffee what a world with out coffee be like.

More specifically what I want to know is in a world with out coffee what would replace it as a daily caffine fix.

I've had to cut back on my coffee cause my blood pressure is up from the pain... it really sucks too. 4 mugs of weak coffee....

I'm sure something else would be in place of the coffee in that universe.. maybe they do lines of coke Razz

Ah, the social networking intricacies of coffee bounce

Hmm... I rarely drink coffee, and when I do it's one of those blends with chocolate or whatever. No, not Starbucks. General Mills international blends. Cheaper.

I get my caffeine from chocolate things, and soda pop, and mostly from Excedrin (helps headaches).

Yeah, a world without coffee would be weird. It might be a good thing. People might be less jittery and sleep better.

Coffee is bad. but it's so damn good.

I never drank it until I was past 40 and had a severe anemia.

I thought I was just getting old and tired, so tried to give myself energy to keep going with lots of coffee. Found out I was anemic, took iron, felt wonderful again, but kept up the coffee.

I'm completely addicted to the stuff now.
