I got a pdf file from my title company and when I open it it is gibberish! It opens in Windows Wordpad. Is there any way to change where I save it to make it come out in words and not code? The pdf's on my old computer all came out fine. Why is my new one being an idiot?

Thanks

Cerri

Yeah, you may need to uninstall/reinstall adobe reader if you already have it.

It may also be that somehow your default setting is wrong. See this link for how to fix it in your control panel.

I once had a computer that just refused to read PDF files even after I installed
and uninstalled Adobe and I needed the file quick so had to install another type of reader.

Here's a bunch of free PDF readers - one of those might work if Adobe doesn't.
