| Seems like I'm always talking cats but - cats and work are my life lately, heh.
My poor orange tomkitty Edward! He had his neuter today but I didn't expect him to look so bad. He could hardly stand up (from the anesthetic they said) and he is still sleeping, 10 hours later. They ended up having to do several thiings - four impacted baby teeth, a hernia and his neuter, so he's hurting from his head to his tail and his tummy too. He looks so sad!
I have pain meds to give him when he wakes up. I hope it won't be too hard to get it down.

| It will probably be easy since he's in a weakened condition. When you have to fight him to get them down he's doing better! I have a new stray cat coming up, I named him Sam so I can call him during the day... when he gets used to the name... huge gray tabby... spotted more like, probably a year old unless he's maine coon, then 6 mos He was easy to pet so he's young. I'm surprised he's not here right now for his food. | |

| Yep, it was pretty easy. This morning he is feeling better so it was hard to get him to take it.
He looks like a different kitty today - happy and playing again. Whew! He had me worried.

| This is why I always get the liquid, It's easy for one person to use and they get most of the medicine. The cats will hack up the pill and spit it where ever | |

| Well darn. Back to the vet again this morning. His incision looked yukky and it turns out he had an infection inside it. They cleaned it out and he cried and they restitched it. Antibiotics now for a week and maybe 2 and I have to give him pills because the kind of antibiotic they are giving doesn't come in liquid. She did give me this flavor-gel stuff to coat it so it will slide down. Not looking forward to tonight when I have to stuff it down his kitty throat. Fortunately the infection didn't make him feel sick though. He is eating, playing and feels fine. He is wearing a funny lick-proof collar though and he looks funny! | |

| My cats just tend to hack the pill out somehow... I know I'm doing it right.. so I just ask for liquid, at least they get most of it | |

| He is on his second week of antibiotics. He had to be re-stitched AGAIN and she's hoping this time it will hold. He is also allergic to the stitching material so he's itching like crazy.
3 more days of pills and then back to the doc Monday. Poor baby.
I can't wait to get this cone off him.

| He had some dead tissue removed so I guess glue wouldn't work because now it's under tension and it has to be stitches. He shredded the cone last night! The vet recommended a newborn onesie so he is wearing one and looks so funny. Here he is - little Edward. He blinked when the flash went off, heh. | |

| Stitches are finally out! He has to wear the goofy shirt another week to keep his tongue away from it. Did you folks see this? No wonder he caused such damage. Cat's tongues are scary close up. | |
