Pop Weaver Popcorn

This is the second time I've emailed Pop Weaver to comment on their great microwave popcorn. I bought it on a whim once cause it was on sale and I don't particularly care for microwave popcorn but I noticed I consistently could eat the whole bag, it was that good.

I see my local Wal Mart Store #1111 has failed to restock PopWeaver. I am not amused by this. All they have on the shelves is Act II and Orville, neither of which I care for one bit. Pop Weaver is the only popcorn I can eat a whole bag of, if I'm that hungry, it is that good.

I just thought I would let you know of this travesty and I will continue to look for Pop Weaver elsewheres. I have written Wal Mart to say, "I save a lot of money shopping at Wal Mart, you are always out of what I want.". I had hoped this would send them a message, but I will not count on it.

Hi Shelli, or whomever is now reading this. I was going to pass on the free popcorn since Fred's and DollarTree are close by, but decided I would accept and give the popcorn away to friends as to sway them to also buy Pop Weaver. I would say it would be a Pop Weaver Revolution but this area only has 20,000 residents county-wide.

The brand I normally buy, but am not limited to, is Butter. It is just the most purchased flavor. My mailing address is:

I apologize you've had a difficult time finding Pop Weaver in your local Wal-Mart store. We were doing a test in that market to better understand how popcorn brands react in different competitive environments. In the next few weeks, your local store will once again be carrying Pop Weaver.

It is not to worry, I am not one of those anti-Wal Mart idiots and I particularly despise unions and I will continue to shop at Wal Mart. I would think that product availability is quite affected by the area population and excessive amount of grocery stores in this area. I just prefer to shop at Wal Mart being a guy and I can purchase most of all I need in one stop. You will find weed control, catfood, motor oil, electronics and software, toiletries and food all in my basket at one time.

I wrote Pop Weaver once again to brag on their product and to let them know it is one of the products I will go out of my way to purchase. It would in no way affect my shopping habits at Wal Mart, convenience was just slightly inhibited.

Thank you for your kind email. My emails to companies are more for entertainment effect and product loyalty than complaints. I am a loyal Wal Mart shopper.

LOLOL....I buy Pop Weaver too, in fact, I think I'll go make some now. It tastes great and it's cheaper than the other brands and they don't kill off their employees using diacetyl for butter flavoring.

I seem to get ignored when I try stuff like that.

I've never tried that kind of popcorn. I try to make it on the stove but keep some Orville microwave for when I don't feel like the work.

I'm gonna try that kind if I can find it here.

I wrote them a couple years ago when I discovered them. I was just surprised I could eat a whole bag of microwave popcorn and it was tasty. They wrote me back then too. It's the only nuke corn I buy now. Lemme see if I still have that mail... of course I do!

I see you have been in business 75 years. I do not know how long you have been in the microwave popcorn market but I bought a 15 pack to try. I just tried the first bag and it was very good. I hope to see the quality remain the same. It is rare I finish a bag of popcorn but I finished this one.

Hi Shelli, I received the coupons for the popcorn today, maybe it will motivate me to go shop. I do have a hankering for a sirloin roast for the weekend and I need milk. Then I could relax with a movie and some popcorn with a few friends.

My ex had sent me some Orville and I popped it the other night to go with watching Patriot Games. I tell you what, that Orville was just gross. It got fed to the birds, I hope they don't die. The crows seemed to like it though. I wonder if they'd like Pop Weaver but unfortunately there's never much left but a few unpopped kernels to give them.

hmm. I didn't like it. The butter flavoring tasted kinda strange to me.

I wonder if I got a bad batch or something.

Try it again. Don't have any other popcorn for at least a week.

That bag of Orville I had tasted horrible compared to Pop Weaver, might be the flavorings they use, if you're used to one, the other tastes like crap. I wasn't thrilled with Orville or Act II anyway so the Pop Weaver was great in comparison.

Seems an isle display of Pop Weaver magically appeared at wally. I bought a box. 15 pack for $2.50
