Hello.... you are compelled by my MIND POWERS to post!

Been super busy at work.

Then... this past Friday evening a neighbor-lady, who is also part of my extended family, died. In her sleep, so that was a good way to go. She was the second wife of my ex-brother-in-law, but we were all friendly.

Then, I managed to trip my way into my apartment on Saturday while doing laundry. Went head-long tumbiling into my living room; used the laundry basket, and my right hand, to stop my fall. Sprained my right index finger real well. Typing with a splint is an adventure. But a sprained finger is better than a broken neck, so can't complain much.

My buddy's daughter broke her elbow Saturday, had surgery and all

I survived breaking my neck but I do not recommend it, 95% die from the same accident, 4.99% are quadraplegic and then there's me.

Seems like my whole crew, all my friends and family are getting into arguments and at least one is not talking to me. I'm hiding in my house for awhile. Seems to be bad things in the air so I'm staying in!

Still not warm here either. The geese are flying back home but no clue why - nothing is green here yet and it's still really cold.

edited to say - I know Neck isn't neck any more but i still can't get used to the new name!

Yeah, most all the ppl who know my Neck nick still call me that even though I changed it just after surgery in 2003

They look fine to me. I've been trying to find more distinct graphics to display, instead of the default ones. The change is very slight on these ones.

The whole weekend went by without a posting

My internet was out much of yesterday..a worker severed the phone/internet line about 25 miles from here.

My internet was out from 10pm to this morning from a storm... I could use IM but couldn't surf

Yep, we had an earthquake this morning. Really shook us at work. Our relatively new building was rolling, rolling, rolling on the waves of the quake, the way that the building designers planned. So... we just kept going for a while. Could have gotten sea sick. Heh!

Supposedly no damage.

I came home later, happy to see that none of my kinda precariously seated items had been knock over. Yay!

The odd thing... The quake happened at about 11:42am; no damage in my neck of the woods.

At about 3:15pm, apparently some transformer blew, so power to our office building and surrounding area for a few blocks was out. We got to leave a bit early. Related to the quake?? Dunno.
